Heffler Claims Group Welcomes Teresa Sutor to Our Team

TerrySutorHeffler Claims Group (“Heffler”) is proud to announce the recent hire of Teresa “Terry” Y. Sutor to our team as Client Services Manager. In this capacity, Terry manages our client services team and consults with clients on antitrust, consumer, government, securities and employment matters. With more than 20 years of experience in the legal industry, Terry has previously worked on streamlining work procedures and work processes for both large numbers of staff members and external clients.

Prior to joining Heffler Claims Group, Terry worked as a Foreclosure Manager for Zucker, Goldberg & Ackerman, LLC, where she managed a foreclosure staff of over forty individuals and restructured in-house tracking systems for the Pennsylvania foreclosure work, wrote procedures for work processes, and worked with clients to establish new processes and procedures for foreclosure filings. Before her role as a manager, Terry worked as an Administrator at Fox Rothschild LLP, where she managed the daily operations of a mid-sized office. While in this role, she was responsible for managing work flow, fiscal management, facilities management and marketing and client relations. Prior to that, Terry was the Director of Bankruptcy for Fairbanks Capital Corp where she managed a staff of 102 people who handled an average of 36,000 bankruptcies per year. Terry was also a Vice President of the Legal Department at The Oxford Finance Companies, Inc., where she had a scope of responsibilities including litigation, bankruptcies and preparation of mortgage satisfactions.

Terry also worked as a managing paralegal at City Federal Savings Bank for approximately ten (10) years where she negotiated settlements on cases up to $500,000 and provided discovery support including, fact-finding, preparation of answers to interrogatories, affidavits, releases, document production responses, etc., to outside counsel.

She received her Paralegal Certification from the American Institute for Paralegal Studies from Rider College, and also completed multiple courses in legal research and legal writing from the American Bankers Association and the New Jersey Bar Association (I.C.L.E.). She is on the Board of Directors of the Association of Legal Administrators and is a member of the Yardley Flood Task Force.
