Position: Content Marketing Manager

Heffler Claims Group, a national leader in class action claims administration and legal notice, has an immediate need for an enthusiastic and goal driven Content Marketing Manager.  This position will be based in our Philadelphia, PA office and will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.

The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and coordination of content in support of strategic organizational objectives such as demand generation, brand awareness, and thought leadership.  The position will oversee the creation and repurposing of content and collateral in a variety of forms including text, video, webinar, presentation, infographic, and social media.

Ultimately, the job of the Content Marketing Manager is to think like a publisher/journalist, leading the development of content initiatives in all forms to drive new and current business for Heffler Claims Group and its affiliate businesses, Heffler, Radetich & Saitta and Horsey, Buckner & Heffler.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create an ongoing stream of resources and content (including but not limited to blogs, white papers, websites, press releases, emails, infographics, social media, etc.) to fuel the content pipeline and generate thought leadership and awareness.
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all Heffler’s companies.
  • Develop a strategic content marketing plan and editorial calendar that supports and extends marketing initiatives, both short- and long-term, determining which methods work for each brand and why.
  • Develop standards, systems and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content re-purposing.
  • Create and maintain buyer personas and buyer’s journeys for all Heffler companies.
  • Leverage market data to develop content themes/topics and execute a plan to develop the assets to educate clients and prospects and position the company as a thought leader.
  • Manage the preparation of proposals and qualification packages.
  • Maintain a high-level knowledge of up-to-date practices and strategies in digital media.

Required Experience/Skills:  

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related communications field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a leader in multichannel content creation
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it.
  • Experience creating compelling messages for different target audiences
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales
  • Preference of working in a smaller environment where you will wear multiple hats, and juggle different priorities
  • Ability to analyze and present content and social performance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must
  • Experience with HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Attention to details and good organizational and follow-up skills
